// the next day, we encounter our first finnish soup at juuri. it may be difficult to gauge the size of that bowl, but let me tell you, it was large and deep.



// and just next door, a cute little neighborhood grocery (juuren puoti) with local and organic goods, which was surprisingly a newish concept there.

we took a train from brussels to frankfurt and hung out for the day

// two breakfast sandwiches at the san seb airport. i did not partake as i was still running to the bathroom every ten minutes. let me tell you, i was very worried about taking a long flight on a small plane.

// after a relatively quick train ride, we find ourselves in venice

as planned, we took our flight from sapporo to tokyo. but instead of staying in tokyo, we got on a train straight for osaka. the train was standing room only, but we made it.



// we saw these curry crackers all over sapporo. and finally caved at the airport by buying a whole box.



// so. good. no joke. get them if you ever find them. hoard them, even. yoshimi curry curry sticks.
