// day 2 of stockholm: visited the furniture-making dept of a local university.

aj went back to work for the week and i headed out to stockholm for a few days.



// quickly realized that swedish design was more colorful and modern than my tastes

// we headed out to meyers bageri to see if they made those elusive chocolate chip cookies again. no dice. instead, we had three pastries. yes, three pastries to compensate for one cookie.

// sunday fun day! there was a cherry blossom festival that day, so we headed out there for our lunch. we had some unagidon and sakura mochi. and watched some martial arts demonstrations.



// just down the road was the little mermaid, so we hung out a bit watching tourists take pictures. and then took our own!



// heading back home, they were handing out free cans of coke in the metro station.

// i happened to have a strong craving for peking duck that week, so we found a chinese restaurant that had it. but i think we ordered the wrong version. no crispy skin! =(

// i decided to use one of the free city bikes this day to explore. here, i'm at the amalienborg palace. that's not me though. it's some random other tourist, because i didn't have anyone to take a picture of me.

// the most delicious chocolate chip hazelnut cookie from meyers bageri. i went back at least every other day to see if they made them again (usually not). mind you, the trip to this bakery took at least 30 minutes each way. yes, it was that good.
